2 heads, one platter suprisingly. Then again it's a budget hard drive.

How many heads? It looks like at least four, but I'm guessing that there is some reflection there, but that would still mean that there were as many heads below the platter as above. It's a good shot, though. One for the stock, me-thinks.

Nope a Samsung 80Gb drive single platter... ;)

It's scary how little there was inside it compared to the old 4Gb Western Digital I dissected last year.
