All I wanted to know is why it was occuring?

1) Was it my computer?
2) Was it my username/account?
3) Would another member have the same problem if they tried it out?

Anyway, whatever it is I can live with the user default skin/theme, if the forum change has caused that to become a problem then so be it, I'll just adapt :)

"IE" at the moment, but usually I always browse via AOL, even though I've been told by most here to ditch it :(

I haven't been on there Simon, been working flat-out :o
Give it a go, it might be an indicator of general trouble with your 'puter.

TC2.

1) Just logged in a few minutes ago on there and made a new thread, so thats okay and so's my computer..
2) I did u2u someone on here (KF) about my problem with the red 'x's but due to the rules of this forum, I can't say who I u2u'd or the content, but it has remained unresolved, however if I use the 'user default' instead of 'Windows XP silver' as my default/skin then everything is okay!!
3) I'm okay with this username TC2, as I'm posting right now and I can open my control panel okay, but I still have the red 'x' problem, damn!! :( That must mean it's impossible to use the theme/skin : Windows XP silver without having 'x' s against every link..

If that was the case, I'd have received a u2u from her saying so. Anyway, I haven't done anything wrong? Unless one of my jokes was taken as something different?

It's like you Redwolf, I know you're just a comical man and when you have a dig at myself and scholar, you don't mean it for real waveysmiley

Hi there, I had trouble in posting under TC4W so I've made a quick new account to post this message.

I'm wondering whether it's got anything to do with the fact that I'm getting a lot of red 'x' s instead of links when I log in? Basically I use Windows XP silver as my theme instead of the standard user default, maybe that has caused something to go wrong?

I can log in okay and read every thread, but I can't post anything or open my control panel.

What can be done about it?

Thanks, TooCute4Words Now TC2
