Based on the "saving paper" theory, Gina, you could save space on the server by using a smaller font!

That concern hasn't stopped some members of this forum from posting dubious items.

Simon, I was thinking the very same thing!

Gina, to get into the next higher rank, you certainly want to make a separate post for each idea. greengrin

OK, here's one, what's that costume you are wearing on your avatar? Is it really Pacmanconfused2

Yes it is a pacman costume I had a fancy dress party for my 30th, decided on a 70s theme and too many people moaned about lack of costume ideas etc. so I extended it to include the 80s. That is anything goes from those decades.

Being the computer geek I am how fitting for me to go as the first computer game I ever had pacman.

I thought it was original anyway.

Gina

P.S LSemmens I'll give your advice a miss thanks

Hi Gina! Here's a thought. just email me with all your login details, including you bank account stuff, and then I could log on here with your name, play merry havoc, then milk you bank accounts dry, and have a loverly time. This would serve several purposes
1 - get you off "New User" title,
2 - give me a bit of fun
3 - fatten up my bank balance
4 - probably get you banned here, too, so that you'll get that very special CUT that is given to a very select minority.

Just a thought, BTW. Over to you!

Considering the proposal seriously: the nature of the coding is such that everyone with the same (less than 50) number of posts will get the same label. Generally, it is much more common for a person with less than 50 posts to be a new user than an infrequent user (unless they only come in for two or three posts when they have a computer problem). It wouldn't be appropriate to call most people an infrequent user when they have less than 50 posts; in many cases, we hope they are plunging in and getting to know us with five or more posts each visit, fairly often, so that in a couple of weeks they are familiar faces.:D

Dreamweaver's suggestion would get you to the next rank--post, until you total reaches 50. Quite a few people here, including myself, Quaver, Giron, Bear, and TooCute4Words (to name a few) have posted 25 or more posts in a single day. You could easily log on for a few minutes each day and post that many in a week.

Janet's suggestion, that each of use could ask you a question, would work.

You could be well on your way if you were to try to think of one appropriate post for each forum. For example, you could tell us about the favorite of any pets you'd ever had.

For my question, I'll suggest you drop into the Late Night Club UK topic thread and tell us what kind of food and music you like. We'll have that music tonight. The food? It will depend on whether it's something easy enough to fix. greengrin

I know I'm not one of the ones that pops in regularly but study commitments I have to stop myself as I get hooked in and end up not studying (procrastinating I believe they call it) but I do try as the site is in my links to keep reminding me where you are and that your always there for me to pop in and say hi.

What do you say?

Gina

Just another 25 posts will gain you a familiar face title.(Trivia might help).

Hope all is well in land of pharmacy:)
