Have a look at the Security Tab and then click on the Show Passwords button. Have a look through that list to see if the trivia password is remembered there.

This is what I tried on my Firefox.

Close all KF tabs
Tools - Options - Privacy - Show cookies
Click on Karlsforums folder, and remove cookies - close.

It worked for meconfused2

Have a look in the Privacy tab under <Tools> <Options>

I have "remember web pages" set to 0
I have "accept cookies until I close firefox"
and "Always clear my private data when I close firefox"
Under the Settings button in private data I have everything checked except cookies and saved passwords. (If you use tab mix plus, you may want that unchecked too)

See if that lot work.

I use FF. I'll try clearing the cache.

I never have problems Janet, which browser are you using? As Sceptre has suggested, clearing the cache may work for you. I have Firefox automatically clear everything when I close it anyway, so I've not experienced your problem

I thought deleting cookies would do it but it wasn't to be ! confused2
Clearing cache and a refresh worked for me in the end .

I know how to subscribe to the trivia forum, but is there any way to *unsubscribe* from it, so it doesn't appear in my today's posts? I've tried logging out and in again.

TIA...
