It appears to be the case, that the camera is communicating with Vista just fine surely, as the OP has said the files are already on the computer...?

Lets just wait for a reply, before we start confusing matters...

If the above still fails, then we can assist further.

Both good suggestions, Daz, welcome Lillypop. Most of us are normal around here, as for the forum, this is as good as any, for that question. waveysmiley

Download Real Alternative 1.90 by clicking here (Real Player without the junk.)

Or, if you want an all round media player, then Download VLC here

Try going to the Olympus website and seeing if they have an updated driver for Hissssssssssta.

What is the file format that your camera saves the video in? If you can do a "save as" and save as them as a more generic video format, that might help, too.

Welcome to the board, BTW.

sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this question in but i have this olympus digi camera which on my old xp computer i used to be able to watch the videos i film using real player. but since i changed to vista, i can't play my videos anymore. i was advised to download gom player which was meant to play any video file, but even that didn't work. i really don't know what to do really. real player should play them on vista as well as xp, but apparently it ain;t working.
