I had a quick look and could not find any reference, but, it would be in character for tweety to say "You cared me", FWIW, it has always been "I tawt I taw a puddy tat"

I remember watching Looney Tunes as a child especially the "I tot I saw a puddy cat" song. My father said tonight that Tweety often said "You cared me" instead of "You scared me" but I don't remember that. Is he right?
