The Crystal Maze died when Richard O'Brien left !

It is always a mistake to try and reboot a successful show with inferior presenters/rules/formats. You would think 'they' would have learned that by now !

I don't know about you but I am getting mightily fed up with the type of celebrity that appears at the opening of an envelope.

A case in point was last night's Crystal Maze reboot. On the plus side it was for a Stand up to Cancer donation. On the negative, some of the slebs were so odious and - yes - thick that it made for painful viewing.

The fun of The Crystal Maze was watching a mix of intelligent and athletic folk working as a team to win crystals. Last night's group needed a lot of prompting.
