She has been on record as being against same sex unions, and the rumour that Tim was actually a homosexual has been kicking around since she stabbed Kevin in the back.

Why is anyone's sexuality a "Valid Question" unless they are known to be preaching against gay people?

In the few Australian films I've seen politicians are inevitably cast as corrupt.

Just a few. In this case, however, it could well have been a valid question. The handling of it, however, was entirely inappropriate, which, unfortunately, reflects the campaign run by the Labor party in the lead up to our election later this year. There's no smoke without fire and the fact that he's a hairdresser probably means that he's defiantly gay, allegedly.
Not only that, he most likely drinks lager which is a good indication of gayness. teacher_mode
