The 3M product is quite good, have used these in rented places before we bought our own.

I tried the double sided tape but the decs are pretty heavy so I used the padded double sided tape (like the ones used under a rug or similar). As I will be decorating after New Year it won't matter if it takes the paint etc off.

Are people here familiar with the story behind 3M's Scotch tape? (Why is it called Scotch tape?) I heard this when it came up on a quiz show.

I see no reason for a thread drift? The thread has been up a matter of hours, I have seen threads go on for days before being hijacked......................

I remember seeing an advert for these stick up strip type that can be removed easily after use.

If I was back in Wirral I would probably find them in TJ Hughes or similar type shop (Assuming I could remember the name lol )

Any ideas?

Double sided Cellotape any good.

Topcat.

OOH! never thought of that one :) off now to try it.
Thanks TC dancingbanana_new.gif
