OOh OOh, I saw these on the news today, aren't they lovely little things.
Although I would say iy looks more like a chinchilla(sp) than a gerbil.

I agree, they are strange looking critters, they do look like they'd make a cute pet, but I think here is fine. We'll have to wait and see if SWIAP (She Who Is All Powerful, AKA - Dreamweaver) agrees.
