Thank you Leigh
I was so lucky on that shot and it is one of my favs of him.
He is truly like he looks there too - towards Hubby and me.
But he hates everyone else ha ha ha.
It is a Chow thing I guess:)

If bears who are not so widely known can be chosen, by favorite would be "the Bear" who is my friend here at KF.

My favorite childhood bear was CoCo, an orange mostly-plush bear who was as large as I, when I was little. His head and all four paws were furry, but his body was plaid cloth. I dressed him in my own shirt and shorts, which gave his body protection from the wear he got over the many years I enjoyed sleeping with him. To this day, I would wish the comfort of feeling someone to put my arms around. (Perhaps the day will come again.)

Thank you "kind Sir"

I have two favorites, a family bear, a scruffy little thing loads of repairs, had 17 button eye replacements with most of his fur now gone; We call him "Fred" fred bear??

The second favorite must be "Ben" the big Brown Bear in the Grizzly Adams series, a beautiful animal.

I don't know if Jack our dog would qualify, "big hairy creature", ( cross Bearded Collie / Wolf Hound ). He sometimes gets called Chewy as in Chew Bacca of Star Wars fame.

Come and join the nation?s favourite bear

The nation's favorite? This is quoted from the Sooty site. I recall that about a year ago, Paddington Bear was praised here.

So, the poll. Who's your favorite bear?
