Computer Setup/VP and PC Diagnostics Version

For all products except the Deskpro EP, SB, and EN Series, Computer Setup and PC Diagnostics are both pre-installed on the Diagnostics Partition. The diskettes in this SoftPaq can be used to update these utilities on the Diagnostics Partition or to restore them if the Diagnostics Partition has been destroyed. Both utilities can be run by pressing F10 during power-up or reboot when prompted in the lower right corner of the screen on some models or when the cursor jumps to the upper right corner of the screen on other models. Or they can be run directly from these diskettes if your system fails to respond. NOTE: For the Deskpro EP, SB, and EN Series, Computer Setup/VP and Personal Computer Diagnostics must be run from diskette. Computer Setup/VP allows the user to configure security and power management settings as well as system resources (DMA, IRQ, I/O Ports, and Memory). It is specific to the Deskpro models listed below. Personal Computer Diagnostics contains programs that can test and inspect the state of the computer and its devices. It is used with the Deskpro models listed below, as well as other Compaq Desktops and Portables. Fixes This version will support all the features supported by Setup 1.75
After saving changes in Setup_VP, a Plug and Play alert message is displayed and no video is displayed from the operating system when the drivers are loaded on the second, third or fourth monitor. Sopported Systems
Once unzipped you can boot the disks to re-create or update your software bios. This will create a non-dos partition of approximately 3 meg. Remember to create a folder called F10vp on your hard drive and extract all 3 files to it. Then run makedisk.bat to create the setup disks.
