About Me
My name is Karl Davis, I am 42 and married to Dot. We live in Wallasey, Merseyside and although I was originally born in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear I consider Merseyside to be my home. I have lived here for more than twenty year. In January
2001 I bought my own domain and my site was born. I average more than
1,000 visitors a day to the portal. At the time I began my site, I was asked why I wanted to compete with all the other PC Device driver sites out there, and the simple answer is that so many different driver sites I visited had no real personal support at all and I wanted to change all that. From my Email box I get requests all the time from all over the world and I prefer that kind of email to spam/junk email any day. See my guestbook to see what I mean as there are some strange and weird countries listed in there. In particular,
running my live Community forums is a hobby that I really enjoy. Providing a site that would link to most manufacturers and provide useful PC help pages, in the form of an FAQ Section has helped me to build a resource that will be useful for me and others too. I added downloads that would help and assist in trouble-shooting hardware problems like faulty hard drives and a few more goodies. I also have
live Community Forums
that you can access from the top of all pages. With careful management
and a wonderful team of volunteers these are fast becoming well known
in most search engines and with a thriving, growing membership in excess
of over 800members from all walks of life. I intend
to keep my site going indefinitely so that is why I bought the domain
of my own name. I hope that
the readers will find it a useful site to bookmark and visit me again
